GENEVA, NY - Ford
Motor Company and its dealers are working together to benefit communities
nationwide. Drive 4 UR Community, designed to help raise much-needed funding
for local community groups and nonprofit organizations, is very similar in
concept to Ford's successful Drive 4 UR School initiative. To date, Ford Dealerships across the
United States have helped raise more than $50 million for local schools and
nonprofits, thanks to their hard work and the Drive 4 UR School and Drive 4 UR
Community programs.
Friendly Ford is bringing Ford Motor Company's Drive 4 UR Community program to the Geneva community to raise money
for Thrive to Survive. For every person who virtually test-drives a Mustang
Mach-E, Bronco Sport or F-150 on 10/29/20, Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to Thrive to Survive,
up to $6,000. Friendly Ford will match the donation from Ford for a combined
total of up to $12,000. The funds will go towards financial support for local
cancer patients living in Ontario, Seneca, Schuyler, Wayne and Yates counties.
"We know COVID-19 has hit everyone hard this year.
Donations to Thrive to Survive have slowed but people in the community are
still battling cancer and need assistance. We want to do our part to help make
sure Thrive to Survive can continue to help those in need" said Heather Uvanni,
Marketing Director at Friendly Ford Geneva. "We're excited to raise money for Thrive
to Survive."
